Dear colleagues and friends:
HIGSA and I are inviting you to the third movie of the series of Spanish LGBTQ+ movies. We wanted to continue our DEI conversations on specific aspects that are discussed in the different movies we are screening. As always, all movies are going to be screened at 7.30 pm at the University of Kentucky Athletic Association Auditorium, 1st floor, W.T. Young Library with English subtitles. (See attached flyer).
The forth movie of our series is “Contracorriente (Undertow)” by Javier Fuentes-León, an “…extraordinary Peruvian drama that's part Brokeback Mountain, part Ghost” (The Guardian) (see attached flyer). Please disseminate as much as possible. There will an extra credit for students attending.
